easter finds
Sorting boxes, letters, postcards, art invites, old photos and various cards.
I found out i have a little painting by Froi that he gave when we were classmates in a minor subject during college.
I bet this is highly valued now, heheh.
By the way, my artwork "To the Fasting Party" is featured in Spoonfulzine's Easter art finds.
Back to the boxes, I found these cute old photographs, too:
Mom in her 20s is a carbon copy of my sister Googs. :)
Me and my auntie.
Meanwhile, at the other side of the room...
Hah! The box inspector neglected his duty and fell asleep .

memory lane
Cleaning my apartment today, i rummaged my way to the old boxes that remained untouched (until now) ever since i moved to this place. And these are some treasures i found:

Some old photos, birthday cards, postcards and letters.

Including love letters, too, hahah.
Few of these photos brought back a wave of good memories...

Mini me and our first pet dog Bobby. :)

Early Christmases spent with my grandmas. I missed how my grandma (on photo) and auntie decorate on holidays.

All about the first dance number ever (as i grew older, i lost this magic talent, hahah)

The first ever school award (my brother grinning wide beside).

The first ever poster artwork i did.

One of the first batch of watercolour landscapes i did during college.

And one of the first ever paintings (a self-portrait) i did while discovering my own style.
There are also few things in my luggage i didn't recognize. Like for instance, these antique photos whereas i can't remember how i got. Maybe they're my ancestors or a friend's ancestors. :)

And there are valuable items & memoirs i lost because of transferring from one place to another. I hope someday i can make my own permanent home.
How about you, what lovely memories were you reminded of ? Made any discoveries today? :)

series
Three-day challenge. I have to do seven piezas as requested. And as instructed, i can make it a series from one of my latest works. Sure, it's a mind equation because i've never done this before. But instead of stressing out how to finish before Sunday, i'll consider this as a chance to test and challenge mi own capability to make more come out from a sole piece. And as true as the old saying, when you don't know the answer, look up in the sky ~ praise God! i had the flow of ideas i waited for.

Notes: Movement, rotation, angles, perspective, play of light.
*My mind is already working though i hope my physical will cooperate. If you see seven piezas next week at Implode, that means i'm on it.
*The movement of clouds is inspiring, as always. Just look at this cotton candy.

After ten minutes, it slowly formed into this..

This serene morning goes to my grandpa, specially that puffy white horse.
Godspeed, have a peaceful and wonderful time (with the bottomless coffee :)).
Von voyage. We <3 you forever.
