trying to draw using my left hand

Because my right hand is still under recovery, i am practicing writing and drawing using my left hand.
The potential is very vague.

splintered

Goodnight Splinter, I'll hold you closer
{watercolour and graphite}

I started doing this the other week after i got home from my surreal excursion at Nicoll.
I just finished it this evening with a quick round of heneiken.

when things turn rubbish

when things turn rubbish {graphite on paper}

I did some quick sketching today while waiting. I think i'm getting rusty.
I must refresh my hands in preparation for some serious stuff. I'm going to paint again. :)

Playboy Magazine Feature

Nope, i didn't go nude on the Playboy Philippines September 2012 Issue hahah. But my illustration is on the Fiction Art page.

And because it's their music issue, they asked contributors about the kind of music they listen to.

 Playboy Philippines' September 2012 Issue is now available in selected magazine stands nationwide.
You got Mocha and some hot chicks on the cover of what they called "our boldest issue yet."

when going blank

Strange Terrain
{mixed media}

Confused feelings, several unfinished paintings, and now pepping back to life. Note to self:
"Do you have doubts about life? Are you unsure if it is really worth the trouble? Look at the sky: that is for you. Look at each person’s face as you pass them on the street: those faces are for you. And the street itself, and the ground under the street, and the ball of fire underneath the ground: all these things are for you. They are as much for you as they are for other people. Remember this when you wake up in the morning and think you have nothing. Stand up and face the east. Now praise the sky and praise the light within each person under the sky. It’s okay to be unsure. But praise, praise, praise.” — The Shared Patio; Miranda July.

meeting summer with rain

This week's weather is precarious. It will rain and heat up in a day. But i'm still daring to anticipate some blue skies over the Lenten season. I'd like to visit few places.

4am sketch the other morning whilst the heavy downpour.

In this kind of weather, the mafia cat sleeps zealously.
Notice how he possessively done-up Vimbim for his pillow.
