Question 8: What book have you read the longest?

The diurnal of death of the world is a slow death. Earth and sky begin to merge into each other. The earth rises and seems to spread like a mist. The first stars tremble as if shimmering in green water. Hours must pass before their glimmer hardens into the frozen glitter of diamonds. I shall have a long wait before i witness  in the profound darkness of true night, the soundless frolic of shooting stars.
~ Wind, Sand and Stars by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry

This is the longest i've read ~ started last year and finished only this month. I couldn't let it end. I want to go on reading it forever. I took my own slow flight and kept routing and landing back to the pages i love the most. I'll probably read it again one of these days
and the years to come.

  1. We read in similar style. I like to relish the words and pages of a good book. Also, this author's Little Prince was a life-changing book for me. I am the dreamer that I am because of him. I am the lover that I am because of his rose. :)

  2. Confession: I haven't read Little Prince yet! Someone was supposed to give me that book as a gift but i think that will never happen (mga constant talaga). Moving on, i'm waiting for the perfect timing to read that book because it's special. I should acquire it in a special way, too. Several times kasi that i planned to purchase it pero di talaga ako nag-succeed, hahah. I'm looking for a copy of Vol De Nuit first.

Saint-Exupery is indeed a life-changer. :) As you are the rose, i am the aviator.
