sand paintings

Greetings from the sunny side of my windy seat! In relevance to this week's summery vicissitude, here's San Francisco based artist Andreas Amador and his rake creating large scale sand paintings on beaches and coasts. Andreas usually waits for a full moon to make sure the ocean’s tides are low enough for him to complete his designs before they’re permanently washed away. The process reminds me of how life in this world is short-lived. But it's not meant for making haste but for living and doing things you greatly adhere about.

  1. thats so true, I tend to haste and put myself under pressure because I want to do so many things. it works a while, but eventually I become a sick nervous wreck :-D
