this is a food post

I didn't know that i will crave Filipino food so much until the urge came this weekend, so we went to a Pinoy eatery at Lucky Plaza. I was telling my sister than when i go back to the Philippines for a vacation, i will eat all the Filipino dishes ever existed (yes including balut)!

I ate what i craved: Halo-Halo, Kutchinta, and Pichipichi
(plate of Adobo and rice with Kare-Kare on the side)

When i was still in Woodlands, we cooked Filipino dishes as well.
We made Buttered Garlic Shrimp with Fried Tofu when Joms visited.

Now that i am in Sembawang, i alternate Filipino, Italian or Japanese cuisine. We try to skip Chinese as much as possible because Chinese delis are everywhere when you dine out at hawkers.

Today i prepared Penne with yummy sauce. :)

Anyway, we spent a while with some kids this weekend.
So Happy Children's Day to all kiddos around the globe!

Always a kid at heart...
