what's missing

Missing Nest #3
{watercolour on paper}

*There are people, things, events or places you missed that may stay in default for months to come. Sometimes it's better to get in terms with the transient loss and be cool with nothingness - in respect of conclusions made. Qui est l'amour.

  1. it's impossible for us to imagine nothingness, i think. and it feels crazy to feel so close to understanding something, that we take it for granted that we actually know it. but even identifying something as nothing gives it a thingness that turns it into something. this is what i am thinking about as i look at your painting and read your words :)

    wishing you a beautiful week, gracey!

  2. I love your painting!! I love all the colors you use. It gives so much texture and depth.

    It is hard to come to terms with loss, but is sometimes the best thing to do, even though that sounds very sad. Loss is something I have been pondering lately due to certain circumstances. All we can do is make the most of the times we have now with the people we are with.

  3. Thanks Heather and Gi!

    In my head i picture nothingness as a circle. The circumference maybe be finite or infinite. The matter is what's filling the whole.

    Have a great week to you both! :)
