meeting summer with rain

This week's weather is precarious. It will rain and heat up in a day. But i'm still daring to anticipate some blue skies over the Lenten season. I'd like to visit few places.

4am sketch the other morning whilst the heavy downpour.

In this kind of weather, the mafia cat sleeps zealously.
Notice how he possessively done-up Vimbim for his pillow.

goodbye summer

It's starting to cool down. Days are drizzly and rainy in the evening and at dawn. I didn't had much fun this summer but it's not that bad though. As cliche as it may sound, the passing of time made a marking wave to my own personal growth and reflection about some areas of journey through adulthood. I sincerely owe the season's exit a thanks for the way i'm setting my mind right now. Thus, I'm looking forward to the next summer. For now, i hail a farewell curtsy. It won't be long to pat each other again like a good old friend.

a prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages

Photobucket

I consider myself lucky enough to clearly see this wonderful view. But now that my left eye is blurry and only able to focus on things very close to it, anything else will seem pretty fuzzy. Lights appear to have a fuzzy glow around them. Now, i do spend most of my time looking things at a close aim. I thank God for still making me see the beauty of distance. When my eyes hurt and shut off, i think i can still fly. Soaring faith i will get well. Shine like a star bust into the sky ... :)

too much

Photobucket

Whew, thermometer reading is now down to 29C from the 30+. Mori boy had to bathe weekly (a leap from his normal every-other-week bathing routine) as the heat irritates him more than ever. The hot weather is too much. This must be one of the effects of global warming as shown on the news. :(

Tsk. Wishing the heat waves will just concentrate and struck those running politicians who lie and make false promises on public. They deserve hell in advance. Speaking of politics, i haven't made a final thought on my complete list of candidates to circle on May 10th (sheiks, and i'm still suffering LSS from that 'bilog bilog hugis itlog' song i heard playing on the cab, hahah).

I hope tomorrow will be a better cooling weather.
