yuletide ville, party, games
Boni, the rest of Mandaluyong City and the whole Metro
are already pumped up with sparkling LEDs. Our place is super...
illuminance to the nth power!
Parties are happening simultenously, too. In fact, i attended first one last week. I was supposed to be a Christmas elf, but i ended up looking like a suman-wrapped gift (i lose weight again >:( so i had to re-adjust dress that used to fit me perfectly a year ago / ps. i recycle clothes if i don't have costume :P ).
Anyway, i like the twister game. I always win (partida, naka-skirt pa ko niyan)
and always in the winning team. Thank you Yoga!

my dear acquaintance
In the middle of barbeque-ing, making fruits salads, wrapping sweets, and stuff; while fireworks (and firecrackers) are starting to invade the night -- i'd like to note this before the clock strikes twelve.
2010 is my year of many tryings. I tried, hope, and met with a lot of failings, too. I kicked with some moments of hopeless disposition. I’ve taken so many detours, blind hops, and side steps. I’ve also wrestled with so much uncertainties. I’ve gone through a submarine-huge course of pain and i realized that it is all necessary to arrive at the things i know now. I’ve tried new things and i’m really glad that i did. This year had been TOUGH for me. I’ve never experienced this much disappointments and failures in my life. Nevertheless, i’m grateful for everything. Because the good things do come with the bad. I had my share of triumphs and new beginnings. As doors closed, better doors opened. I’m really thankful for all opportunities, second chances, and the sudden surges of boldness that allowed me to go on and take a plunge.

I also thank all the people who have been a part of my crazy 2010. And yes, you too! Thank you for including my little blog in one of your reads. I started this site as a keepsake and i'm still surprised getting random visits from wonderful and talented people. May each day of the coming year be vibrant, blessed, and prosperous. Happy New Year beautiful beings! :)
Ps. Here's to a more awesome 2011:
- Raise your glass and we'll have a cheer
- I'm in the sky tonight
- I, I will begin again
Maligayang Bagong Taon! (our Filipino greeting of Happy New Year)
cheers,

RAWR
So we all became cartoons, then played kiddie games, got rich with chocolate coins and other sweet stuff in our loot bags, received a lot of gifts, and yes, we munched colorful things like kiddie cupcakes.

Cupcakes galore!

Each cupcake represents our cartooned-self. But i forgot to notify them i was transforming (still i love this Peter, so cute that it's heartbreaking to gobble) from Peter Pan to this...
A cross between Tigger and Josie, hahah.

The games were tough, i got competition!

Daphne (of Scooby Doo), Super Maria (Super Mario), the gayest Kenshin (Samurai X) hahah, Cruella De Vil

She must be someone from Alice in Wonderland.

And here's Alice.

Cruella De Vil, Velma and Daphne (girls of Scooby Doo), Alice, and Spongebob.
Happy ending: El Tigre decided not to eat Alice. >:)

11 days before Christmas
And my table still looks like this

Stuff camping on -- mixed objects for the video shoot, study notes, little sketches/ design guides, books, loose change, phone, ipod, etc..

One of fave pencil buckets (i have three, but two looks messy and hideous for PR :P)

And speaking of Christmas, i still have some decors to rush for this week's events.
Tadaah.. silvery snow flakes cutouts i temporarily parked on the window blinds before final hanging :)
And yesterday, got this book for my godson as a gift. Don't you like children's books? It's an awesome gift for kids! Fairy godmother excited to hand it over to the kid. :)

breezy sunday
After a quiet time in the chapel, Googs and I went to the city hall fair to eat buttered corn cobs, takoyaki, and red berry. The whole place is lighted up for Christmas and New Year!

A lot of Tiangge (bazaar) that sell clothes, bags, toys, and anything bargain that you can find this holiday season. My sister Googs (below photo) checking where the Spongebob inflatable is (we didn't find it). By the way, the tiger is not Winnie the Pooh's Tigger. It's the Mandaluyong City symbol and mascot for being the so called "Tiger City" of Metro Manila.

The evening is really breezy. Few hours ago, i was hanging out at the fire exit to check out stars. Though i didn't have any luck, i am looking forward tomorrow for Geminid.

There you go, peeking across the cloudy midnight: the moon and the lone star. :)

*Now jumping in to bed, good morning beautiful beings!
